On Saturday, January 19,
2008, more than 3,500 volunteers
celebrated Dr. King's life and
legacy through inspired volunteering at
the city's largest day of service in
honor of Dr. King - the Chicago Cares
Celebration of Service. Volunteers
participated in one of more than 58
volunteer projects taking place all
across the city that celebrated
diversity and cultural harmony. Dr. King challenged
others to commit to service and we live
out his dream at the Celebration of
Service.
Sponsorship of the Chicago Cares Celebration of Service has many benefits for
our corporate partners. In addition to providing a wonderful day of service for
their employees, sponsors take advantage of an extensive promotional campaign
that includes registration brochures and posters, event t-shirts, event ads,
media coverage
and much more.
