Program Funding Opportunities
Chicago Cares has many year round programs that can be funded by corporate foundations.

A sampling of these programs include:

Chicago Cares Discovery Program: The Discovery Program is a model educational initiative that boosts the aspirations and self-confidence of public elementary school students from under-resourced neighborhoods. This volunteer led, multi-faceted program strives to interest children in learning, to raise their self-esteem and to provide additional role models to children. Through their participation, Chicago Cares volunteers see first-hand the challenges facing public schools.

Chicago Cares Read-with-Me Program: The Read-with-me program is aimed at improving the reading interest and literacy in school aged children while providing them with positive adult role models, the Chicago Cares volunteer.

In-kind Opportunities
Donations of products and services allow Chicago Cares to maintain and expand our program offerings and volunteer base, ultimately helping more people in need. We are always in need of items to keep our office, programs and events running smoothly. The following is just a partial list.
