Life Stories: Remembering the Holocaust Spotlight on Volunteers

The efforts of the volunteers of Life Stories: Remembering the Holocaust made it possible for Chicago Cares to document the stories of 10 Holocaust survivors, and preserve them on video to share with others. The video, part of our award-winning Life Stories Oral History Program, premiered on November 13.

Thank you to the Holocaust Memorial Foundation of Illinois for helping to coordinating this project, and to all of the survivors who took the time to meet to with our volunteers. Additional thanks to Saya Hillman of Mac ‘n Cheese Productions: Digital Media Solutions, for the production of our video. And finally, a special thank you to our co-founder and board president, Leslie Bluhm, whose support made this program possible.
