Chicago Cares Youth in Service Program creates,
manages and leads service projects tailored to
the specific needs of the young volunteer while
addressing a pressing need in the community.
All Youth in Service programs are lead by
trained Chicago Cares volunteers, known as
Team Coordinators,
and many programs have additional leaders
known as Crew Leaders
to lend a hand at the project.
All types of groups are encouraged to
volunteer, we just ask that groups bring one
adult chaperone for every 10 youth.
