Project Description: The Imperial Nursing Home is a nursing facility for seniors and other residents who need skilled nursing care. In honor of 9/11 Chicago Cares will host a pet visits program at this site. Volunteers without pets are encouraged to come and be surprised by how much joy an animal can bring into someone else's day! Pairs of volunteers will visit residents in the Imperial Nursing Home’s activity room.
