Manager, Capacity Building and Advisory Services | Code: CBASMGR18
The Capacity Building & Advisory Services department seeks to build a culture of volunteerism in Chicago, expanding the reach of Chicago Cares and positioning the organization to be a leader locally and nationally on service. The department is a catalyst for change by promoting diverse civic engagement and equipping civic leaders, young and old. The department supports local communities and leverages the organization’s resources and expertise to help them meet their strategic goals and priorities. The Manager facilitates the development, management and leadership of innovative capacity building and advisory services specifically in our core communities that align with the strategic priorities of Chicago Cares and meet the needs of our community, non-profit, corporate and volunteer partners.
Coordinator, Corporate Relations | Code: COORCR19
The Coordinator, Corporate Relations will play a key support role in meeting the organization’s annual corporate revenue goals. They will focus on the cultivation and stewardship of relationships with corporate partners through proposal development, donor data management, and by conducting extensive e-mail, phone, and in-person communication to deepen engagement and increase support. A large percentage of the Coordinator’s time will be spent administratively tracking the extensive existing corporate portfolio and cultivating prospective donor relationships, with the opportunity to manage an increasing portfolio of donor relationships over time. In addition, the Coordinator will also be responsible for event support and other fundraising tasks as assigned.
