The Manager, Accounting and Finance provides stewardship and expertise as it relates to financial data, book-keeping and financial management, consistent with Chicago Cares’ mission, strategic priorities, and the needs of our volunteers and partners. They are responsible for leading organizational efforts to ensure a strong, healthy financial position and efficient and innovative financial practices and processes that conform with industry best practices and regulatory standards. Their role ensures teams are able to deliver optimum performance to advance our mission while we assure sound financial stewardship of the organization.
Intern, Marketing and Communications | Code: INTMC19
The Marketing and Communications Intern will support the External Affairs team in increasing awareness of the Chicago Cares brand and deepening stakeholders’ engagement with the organization. This position’s primary areas of focus will be supporting external marketing and maintaining the organization’s various communications platforms. This position will also provide administrative support to the development team.
Intern, Volunteer Engagement | Code: IOVP219
The Volunteer Engagement Intern will support the Volunteer Engagement team in increasing awareness of the Chicago Cares brand and deepening engagement with our corporate programs and public facing programs. This position’s primary areas of focus will be supporting our team in evolving our public facing volunteer programs to better meet the needs of our partners, create pathways that support and educate our volunteers and leaders, and meet our strategic goals around community investment. This position will also provide administrative support to corporate programs and public facing programs, and in-office tasks for coordinators.
