Bingo Fun at Britton Budd
Build community by joining in a friendly (but competitive!) game of Bingo with low-income seniors. Volunteers will chat with residents, participate in the game, and encourage attendees to invite their neighbors to play. By doing so, you’ll help create an atmosphere that fosters companionship and provides a fun social outlet for seniors who often live alone.
Partner: The Chicago Housing Authority provides rental housing to more than 50,000 families and individuals, while supporting healthy communities in neighborhoods across the city. The CHA's Britton Budd Apartments offers subsidized housing for low-income seniors who live independently. Britton Budd Apartments has been a Chicago Cares partner since 2011 for this project.
- Easy El access: Brown and Purple Lines
