Senior Diners Club at Lidia Pucinska Apartments

Cook up some fun with a lively group of seniors! Prepare and serve a healthy dinner to low-income residents and afterward join them in a spirited interactive game. By bringing residents together for a warm meal and socialization, you will help build community among seniors who often feel isolated. Your participation also expands the facility’s capacity for improving residents’ overall quality of life.
  • This project occurs in a culturally diverse building that’s home to many Polish and Hispanic residents.

  • Easy El access: Blue Line

Partner: The Chicago Housing Authority provides rental housing to more than 50,000 families and individuals, while supporting healthy communities in neighborhoods across the city. The CHA’s Lidia Pucinska Apartments offers subsidized housing for low-income seniors who live independently. Lidia Pucinska Apartments has been a Chicago Cares partner since 2008 for this project.
