Blue: Take the blue line to Illinois Medical District. Walk west to Damen and turn right (north). Walk north on Damen and turn right (east) on Adams. Program Goal Volunteers and residents of Grace House will engage in conversations about current and relevant topics as a way to foster self-awareness, take ownership of opinions, and facilitate co-learning.
Impact of Program Interaction and connection are important for building one’s self-awareness and opinions. As people become more informed and invested in what’s happening around them, they are able to deepen their knowledge of social issues and take action to become civically engaged. This program offers opportunities for people to engage in healthy and productive conversations, leading them to become educated, motivated, and action-oriented citizens.
