Referral: Compass To Care: TAG DAYS

Please join Compass to Care for TAG DAYS on Saturday, June 8, and/or Sunday June 9! Volunteers of all ages are welcome - everyone's help is needed!
What's up? On June 8 & 9, Compass to Care will be participating in TAG DAYS. What is Tag Day?  Volunteers will basically become bell ringers for kids with cancer but without the bell! Volunteers will be placed throughout Wrigleyville (not be in Wrigley Field but on the streets around Wrigley Field) on both days with donation cans, asking those who pass by for a donation. It is called Tag Days because those who donate will be given a tag (sticker) to show their support.
This is a great opportunity for:

  • Anyone who needs service hours
  • Families who want to volunteer together

The more people tagging, the more funds raised! With the Cubs taking on the Cardinals that weekend, it is sure to be an amazing opportunity to help Compass to Care raise money to help kids with cancer travel to treatment. Grab a friend (or friends) and join!
Many people feel helpless when they see a child with cancer. How can Compass to Care help? Compass to Care helps by ensuring that these children can access the best cancer treatment with the hope of a cure. Compass to Care helps children, whose parent are facing financial challenges, travel to the hospital for their treatment by paying for gasoline, tolls and parking.  If the child needs to travel to a distant medical center, Compass to care helps with that too by paying for their airfare and lodging. By volunteering to help raise as much money as possible during Tag Days, Compass to Cares give parents relief from expenses they cannot afford and give children the very best chance to beat this terrible disease. Won’t you please help!?
