Referral: The Kindness Campaign at Wrigley Field

The Kindness Campaign, an Outstanding Member (volunteer) driven organization, is seeking Outstanding Members to volunteer their time as a Concession Stand Worker at Chicago Cubs home games (April – October, 6.5/hour time commitment), located at Wrigley Field, and Northwestern University basketball and football home games (September – April, 5-hour time commitment), located in Evanston, IL.  The Kindness Campaign has a partnership with Levy Restaurants where in Outstanding Members perform concession stand duties. In exchange, Levy Restaurants donates a percentage (%) of net sales to The Kindness Campaign.  The Kindness Campaign is expanding its impact, including the launch of a youth fellowship program. Funds raised will be used to increase and expand the impact of programs and services. Outstand Members duties include cash register operation, beverage preparation, food retrieval and stand maintenance.

In 2018, The Kindness Campaign’s impact: over 25,000 meals were served to the homeless and food insecure families through a commitment to end local food insecurity by directly rescuing and transferring fresh, usable food that would have otherwise been thrown away from grocers, restaurants and other food industry sources; over 250 students ages 6 – 17 were prepared for a successful school year by participating in back to school activities to prepare and inspire them for academic success; over 500 students ages 6 – 17 participated in activities focused on reading, anti-bullying, tolerance and career exploration; over 2,500 community members were encountered and benefited from violence reduction through community improvement projects; and over 5 miles of blocks were cleaned and beautified.
Your participation and commitment will fund the expansion of impact programming as well as the launch of a youth fellowship program that will focus on health, financial literacy, media literacy and community improvement.
