Habitat for Humanity ReStore Chicago

Description
Sunday evening, October 6th, help Habitat for Humanity's ReStore Chicago bundle donations at the True Value Fall Reunion show at McCormick Place.  Suppliers to the True Value show may choose to donate merchandise from their booths to Habitat for Humanity.  Work with Habitat staff and volunteers to help gather, pack and wrap donations from the trade show for transport to the ReStore. Dinner and a t-shirt will be provided. Parking/public transportation will be reimbursed.

Impact
ReStore is Habitat's own home improvement store, stocked with new and gently used donated goods.  Sales from ReStore support Habitat for Humanity’s mission of building homes, communities and hope.  Volunteers to this event will help divert merchandise from the landfill and procure needed donations for sale in ReStore.  Volunteers to this event are a vital part of Habitat for Humanity’s vision of creating a world where everyone has a decent place to live.
