Math + Science at Marillac

Use interactive methods to explore math and science concepts with first- through fifth-graders. Under the guidance of an experienced volunteer leader, you’ll work with children in small groups as they learn about math and science topics through games, art projects, and hands-on experiments. By supporting this program, you’ll provide a positive learning environment and help children build social and personal skills by working cooperatively with their peers and volunteers.

  • This project takes place in an accessible building with ramps and an elevator.

  • Street parking available

  • Easy El access: Green Line

Partner: Marillac Social Center provides vital programs and services in the areas of child development, social services, family services, senior services, and youth programs. Marillac has been a Chicago Cares partner since 2010 for this project, one of multiple Chicago Cares programs at this site.
