Referral: Heritage Healthcare Administrative Support


Administrative work that can include filing, data entry, copying and preparing mailings. Patient care that may involve reading to them, running errands for the patient or family (grocery shopping, walking/feeding the pets, cleaning, etc.) or any other activities and needs the patient requests. 


Volunteering is a very meaningful and rewarding experience. Helping people at a very difficult time in their life can make a difference in their lives and yours as well.

Support to the patient and family is an integral part of the whole hospice experience. The appropriate goals of care involve doing everything possible to achieve the most satisfactory level of physical, emotional, and spiritual comfort possible for all persons facing a life-limiting illness.

Requirements for Service

  • Interview process
  • Application
  • Training meeting <2 hours
  • Shots (TB, Tetanus, etc.)
  • Background check
  • Fingerprinting testing
