The Center for Economic Progress is currently looking for volunteer coaches for their Project Money program. This organization is looking for volunteers that demonstrate and an understanding of the financial challenges facing income-qualified working adults. If you have a willingness to coach people on goals related to building savings, reducing debt, and more, then this volunteer role is for you! You will one-on-one with an individual member of the Project Money program for six hour-long sessions to work on identifying financial goals and strategies to achieve them.


The volunteer coaches not only measurably impact the financial lives of individuals but they also positively impact individual’s relationships with their money.

Volunteer Activity Type

  • Individuals (people who come on their own)
  • New Volunteers (people who have never volunteered before)
  • Committed Volunteers (people who can come on a regular basis)
  • Skilled Volunteers (pro bono work, volunteers with a specific skill set, etc.)
  • Older Volunteers (volunteers aged 55 and older)


Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6pm to 7:30pm
