Referral: Mercy Housing - Computer Lab Monitor Eastwood Apt

Computer Lab Monitor:  This individual will monitor the activities in the computer lab as well as offer direction in navigating website and using online services.

This is an ongoing opportunity for our North side location (Uptown area) as part of Mercy Housing's programs that are offered for young adults starting at the age of 18 years old up to senior citizens. The computer lab is equipped with functioning computers however is has limited use due to the lack of being able to provide a monitor.  The Computer Monitor will help individuals navigating the computer for the following but not limited to: job searching, resume posting and access and/or creating an email account along with social media account.  In addition, monitor the use of the computer to make sure individuals are using safe and friendly sites.

Mercy Housing Lakefront is an organization that serves families and individuals who were on the brink of becoming homeless.  The organization's programs provide people with opportunities that will assist them in continuing to be productive citizens in society.  The closest library to this location is a little over a mile away; however, the computer lab is right in the building in which they live and in some cases is cost effective to those residents in terms of transportation.
