Referral: Erie Neighborhood House- TEAM program
TEAM (Tutoring to Educate for Aims and Motivation) is a one-on-one mentoring initiative for youth ages 12-18. Volunteer mentors meet with an assigned student once each week during the school year to provide academic tutoring. In addition, mentors provide socio-emotional support, assist with goal-setting and help their students explore college and career opportunities.
TEAM mentors work alongside middle and high school students to help them reach their potential. The extra layer of support mentors provide can make a lifelong impact on our youth, many of whom are first-generation college students.
